Nondestructive Testing

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods performed at Danville Metal include Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) and Computed Radiography/Digital X-Ray inspection. Our NDT inspectors are held to rigid standards for acceptance criteria and training, and our in-house Level III inspector oversees development of NDT techniques, interprets customer specifications, monitors compliance, and trains our Level II inspectors.

Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection

Our penetrant inspection process utilizes Magnaflux ZL-67 for high sensitivity results.

Computed Radiography/Digital X-Ray

Danville Metal uses the state-of-the-art Fuji Dynamix Series IV CR Scanner for computed radiography/digital X-ray. This provides timely analysis of welds for both setup and production.

Our NDT processes have been Nadcap accredited for over 20 years.
