Our Nadcap accredited metallographic testing laboratory performs evaluations of EDM, ECG, Laser, and Weld samples. To assure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards, our lab technicians use microscopic measures to analyze:
• Coating porosity
• Contamination
• Coating thickness
• Oxidation levels
Laser processed parts are also measured for:
• Recaset layer thickness
• Micro cracking
• Cut edge taper
• Alloy depletion
• IGA/IGO
• Oxide layer
Our lab is equipped with a state-of-the-art digital micro hardness tester. We are fully equipped and create our own analysis mounts. Samples are analyzed using 25x – 1000x binocular microscopes, and captive measurement software for computer interface.
